Few of you will remember the 126 film format of the 60s.
But the day that my mum gave me my first camera, a plastic 126 cartridge loaded Hanimex lives on vividly in my mind.
Huh! A Kodak moment!
Camera technology has changed since then of course but my fascination with what I see through the lens hasn't.
Gone are the days of cutting of arms and legs or worse still, decapitating repeatedly my
family on film, my skills have become an all consuming passion to capture that perfect
moment and be recognized amongst my peers as a photographer of substance and quality
and of course to be a successful artist..
My photographic achievements include no less than three published works and the development of my own stock photography site canSTOCK.ca that serves the graphic arts and web design industry and contains a body of work unique to the oil and gas industry.
A romantic at heart, I have a particular love of working with bridal couples and with my wife, my best friend and my partner Pam,
we bring twenty years of wedding experience and a blend of traditional and contemporary imagery to our clients.
A glimpse into my pysche can be seen in my architectural images that are a reduction of the busy metropolis into its most
elemental state of line, form and texture, a kind of way of bringing order from chaos.
Like all artists. I am in a continual state of change, learning, evolving growing.
So, if I cut of your head in my camera......well.....it's probably because I don't like you!
